Barata Shumbusho Thierry is an accomplished IT specialist with over five years of professional experience in system administration, computer maintenance, website development, and database management. He has expertise in a wide range of computer applications, engineering, networking, and operating system software. Thierry earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in Computer Science from Africa University in Zimbabwe. He has contributed significantly to various organizations, volunteering with initiatives like CIYOTA and UBUNTU, where he supported youth-driven projects and innovative ideas.
Currently, Thierry serves as the Communication Manager at CIYOTA, a Refugee-Led Organization that has empowered over 6,000 refugee and host community learners since 2008. In this role, he has been instrumental in developing strategic communication campaigns, overseeing the production of impactful content, and enhancing CIYOTA's visibility on both local and international platforms. Additionally, Thierry serves as an ICT tutor in the Education Department at Volcano Tech Hub, where he also manages the organization's technical systems as a System Administrator. His passion for technology, education, and youth empowerment continues to drive his impactful work.
We provide a high training and coaching in educational technology and youth empowerment skills for both secondary and tertiary educators. We provide computer practicals to different schools and communities. Data digitalisation in schools and different offices is our concern.
